If you’re anything like me, you’ve seen a lot of things about having healthy mindsets and happy lives.  I’ve thought to myself, “well this all sounds great, but how can this truly benefit me?”

 

Is this just a few age fad, a wo-wo thing, or is it about just being happy?

 

So, I looked at it!  And figured it’d share my findings with you!

Here are 10 ways a healthy mindset can benefit you and help you have a more happy life:

1. Having a healthy mindset is self-focused.

Self-focus gets frowned upon in society like it’s selfish or arrogant, but the truth is that it’s the exact opposite!  It’s self-care and self-less because the more you care for you the more useful you are to your immediate world and the world at large.

 

2. If you look at the word Healthy, it means not diseased

And diseased means suffering, abnormal and corrupt

So having a healthy mindset in and of itself is having a non-suffering, non-corrupt, non-toxic mindset!

It means working through your garbage and becoming a healthier version of YOU!

 

3. A healthy mindset is solution-based

Since life and death are in the power of the tongue, a healthier mindset would focus more on life, solution-based thinking vs. death, and complaining!

 

4. It helps you have a happy & grateful focused life

How many times has doing something that made you happy given you clarity, a grateful heart, and a more positive outlook?

If we focus on life, solution, and gratefulness, a healthier mindset sure can benefit us by seeking ways to be happy.

 

5. A healthy mindset helps us to embrace who we are

When the world is dead set on manipulating, distracting, and diverting us from being who we were called to be, getting over our diseased mind and embracing who we are is a big middle finger to the world.

It’s also a big victory for you friend.

 

6. It helps you tune into what YOU want your life to look like

On the topic of giving the world a middle finger, having a healthier mindset will help you envision what YOU want your life to look like regardless of how anyone else says or thinks you should live it.

 

7. Recognizing feeling off (or diseased)

This is such a gift!!!  It allows us to step back, recognize what’s going on within us, and choose to show up for yourself vs. being tossed by every wind!

 

8. A healthy mindset pours into all areas of life

Yes!  This isn’t just for physical health or spiritual health; this can touch any area of life!

Because once a mindset starts to change from diseased to healthy, it will start to look at all things in a different way and light!

 

9. Outlook becomes more positive

Ever heard “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he…” Proverbs 23:7?

So having a healthier mindset is a snowball effect: get the gunk out > heal > have a cleaner heart > have a more positive outlook.  Freaking awesome!!

 

10. Better quality of life

I think that speaks for itself!

 

That was encouraging!
